Canopy Lights, 2022
Sculpted concrete, wood, PVC, acrylic, cast aluminum, light bulbs, wiringSculptural table lights featuring sculpted concrete mortar bases inspired by fake rocks and model volcanoes, and laser-cut acrylic diffusers inspired by amoebas, cellular structures, and graphic representations of trees attached to the bases with cast aluminum (or bent steel) arms. Upward-pointed light casts patterned shadows on the walls and ceiling surrounding them.
